Telemarketing partner needed
If you can answer yes to the following questions then
XDOBS may be able to work with you.
- Do you operate a business and have already built an outbound
telemarketing staff?
- Do you have excess bandwidth available in your telemarketing
department?
- Do you have highly trained and well educated telemarketers
who can talk intelligently to Office Managers about mobile phones and internet
services?
- Do your people have access to the internet from their calling
locations so they can help walk customers through the process of signing
up for a service?
XDOBS provides a high value service to companies who run vehicle fleets with
between 5 and 150 vehicles. Each customer will pay
a small monthly fee for each user who accesses our server or each mobile
handset signed up for the service. You will be paid a commission
each month that customer continues to pay for the service.
XDOBS has determined that the most effective way to sell this Wireless ASP
product is to directly approach the Operations manager, office manager and
possibly CEO’s working in our target customers. We believe that
an effective sales strategy will utilize an intensive telemarketing initiative.
Any company who has a high incidence of customers who need repeated visits
to the same service locations are an ideal fit for our solution.
- We have identified regional franchise bottled water distributors
as ideal candidates.
- Companies that provide regular service for water purifiers,
water softeners and professional janitorial and lawn care services are also
good candidates.
Your people would be responsible for:
- Making the initial contact with the customer.
- Educating them about the benefits of the service.
- Stepping them through the process of signing up for the
service.
- Working through the first set of tutorials on how to use
the service.
- Making sure they are up and running successfully on the
service. This is especially important during the first month to ensure
they are getting value from the service.
- Periodically touching base with the customer to tell them
about new features and sign up more hand sets.
- Regularly gathering feedback on customer satisfaction and
new feature needs.
A customer is considered closed when they have signed up for the ASP service
at the XDOBS web site, have registered one or more hand sets,
have at least one field service person actively using the service and the
customer has passed their 1st month refund period.

Data center hosting partner needed
XDOBS
provides a high value ASP service to service oriented companies who run vehicle
fleets with between 5 and 150 vehicles.
We run Java EJB application servers on the server side and make heavy use
of long running processes including Python and Perl. Our applications
can be extremely CPU intensive with peak loads near 100%.
If you operate a secure data center and understand high availability and
can adequately support our long running process requirements then we should
talk.
We currently host this service in-house and include 8 hours of battery backup
and redundant independent network connections as well as highly available
clusters of Linux servers.
We would like to explore a revenue sharing plan where we can outsource our
data center. As an ASP provider we have a strong
interest in building a large customer base and as a hosting partner your
revenue would grow as ours did. As your revenue goes up
the load would go up and you would be expected to continue scaling up the
hardware to keep these servers under 70% at peak load conditions.
